Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Appealing example of the rare T206 Ray Demmitt card, St. Louis Browns, variation. Polar Bear was the only company to issue this variation, thus no doubt contributing to its significant rarity. T206 cards issued with Polar Bear tobacco were not well protected from the accompanying product, thus most Demmitts have significant condition problems, including at least some tobacco staining. This example has bold colors, outstanding registration, and honest corner wear. The Polar Bear reverse is boldly printed. A pair of creases along the front (along Demmitt's arm and next to his face) plus a tiny spot of paper loss next to his cap contribute to the assigned grade.
