From his earliest days as a six-year-old poring over the newest Topps set to the present day handling some of the world's finest sports collectibles, Brian's passion for the hobby has never waned. A lifelong collector, his introduction to the hobby was through baseball cards, which remain his primary area of interest to this day.

Keen to buy, sell, and trade through the internet, Brian caught the bug for connecting buyers and sellers through e-commerce, running a small consignment business on eBay in the early 2000s. In 2007, he was presented with the opportunity to lead business development for Sportscard Guaranty (SGC), one of the hobby's top third-party authentication services. Representing the company at trade shows throughout the United States and Canada, as well as serving an important role in the day to day operations of the company, gave Brian a robust exposure to all areas of the hobby while building his knowledge of cards exponentially.

In 2010, Brian decided that the transactional side of the business was of greater interest so he left SGC and leaned on his experiences from eBay, which provided the genesis for the formation of a standalone auction platform dedicated exclusively to sportscards. At the time, his company was among the first to cater to buyers and sellers at a level not serviced by traditional large auction houses. Brian was able to carve out a niche as a reliable and trustworthy auctioneer delivering quality product with an unparalleled level of service. His work did not go unnoticed, drawing the attention of REA founder Robert Lifson, who reached out offering an opportunity to join REA. Brian jumped at the opportunity to join the best auction house in the business, and in 2012, he sold his company (which still operates under the new ownership to this day) to focus entirely on the new task at hand: grow the hobby's premier auction house. He set to work right away, leveraging the company's incredible reputation and resources to expand the auction schedule from one per year to two. Adding another auction required even more material, so Brian overhauled the company's advertising and promotion, introduced new technologies into existing processes, and modernized many of the company's practices to allow for the expansion. The results were immediate, with record sales the first year in his role. Year over year, REA turned in impressive results while continuing to refine their industry-leading approach. In 2016, Brian assumed ownership of REA upon the founder's retirement and continues to build REA's leading position in the industry.

Today, Brian is actively involved in all aspects of REA's business, ensuring that buyers and sellers alike experience REA's legendary commitment to honest and transparent dealings in an environment built on trust. He works closely with clients on both buying and selling and is universally respected for his insight and guidance as a leader in the industry. He has worked to secure countless significant consignments, including some of the most valuable items ever sold by REA, and understands, as a collector, what clients experience throughout their decision-making process. Brian has been featured as a guest and expert in several national and international media outlets, including ESPN, Fox Business, CNN, ABC News, CBS, Cheddar TV, Daily Mail, Forbes, Barron's, The Boston Globe, and The New York Daily News.

Raised in New Jersey, baseball was never far away from Dean, and like many collectors, his earliest memories of baseball cards date back to elementary school. From the age of 15, Dean was a fixture at local sports shows, setting up regularly alongside one of the leading hobby figures of the day. Those experiences fed Dean's passion for sportscards and memorabilia, turning it into a career in 1992 with Greg Manning Auctions, a publicly-traded, multi-discipline auctioneer specializing in coins, stamps, and sportscards. After a decade with GMA, Dean joined REA in 2003 as the Auction Director, responsible for the production and implementation of the company's annual auction, including a partnership with eBay shortly after his arrival at the company. Dean served for many years as the company's primary vintage card expert, responsible for securing and processing consignments as well as producing copy and overseeing photography on all card-related items. He has personally handled some of the most impressive cards ever sold, including multiple T206 Wagners, Baltimore News Ruths, and countless other rarities. Today, Dean oversees the production of all card-related copy for the company's three major catalog auctions and works closely with designers to ensure REA's catalog maintains its high level of quality and consistency.

A native Californian, but currently residing in Texas, Calvin is an industry veteran with more than thirty years in sports memorabilia dealerships and auction houses, and brings to REA a wealth of knowledge across all areas of collectibles. With a personal interest in unopened wax boxes and memorabilia, Calvin has been an integral part of REA's expansion in these areas since he joined the team in 2018 following a six year tenure in the same position at another large sports auction house. Calvin enjoys interacting with consignors and educating non-collectors as they embark on the processing of selling their important items. It is the thrill of not knowing what's on the other side of the phone when it rings that keeps Calvin going and working towards securing great items for upcoming auctions. He is known for his relentless work ethic, his reliability, and his commitment to fairness, which make him a trusted resource for buyers and sellers alike.

Growing up in New Jersey, Matt followed sports at a young age and developed rooting interests and collector preferences that carried into adulthood. Matt joined REA in early 2019 after three years in operations for Sportscard Guaranty (SGC), a leading third-party trading card authenticator. Matt is responsible for coordinating numerous elements of REA's operation, interfacing with outside vendors, authenticators, and consignors alike to ensure all consignments are processed smoothly. Matt represents REA at trade shows across the country and enjoys serving as a resource for buyers and sellers.

Kyle joined REA in June 2021 as an Operations Specialist and plays an integral role in organizing inventory and cataloging all auction items as well as representing the company at trade shows and events. Kyle is an avid collector of trading cards and memorabilia and has a deep knowledge of the sector, particularly around modern cards. Kyle has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from Drew University where he was a four-year member of the men's basketball team. He also spearheaded a complete overhaul of the university's online athlete database, enabling more seamless accessibility to student-athlete data and information.

Nick is an Operations Specialist at REA where he serves as one of the company's card graders and analysts, specializing in postwar and modern trading cards. He joined REA in December 2020 after spending the first three years of his professional career as an analyst with ArtSci Health Solutions, gathering market intelligence and data that was used to provide a more accurate depiction of customer behavior. Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a four-year pitcher on the Quakers varsity baseball team. He is a lifelong trading card and memorabilia collector, with a particular focus on modern cards, as well as a passionate New York Mets fan.

Jessica joined REA as an Operations Specialist in July 2024, where she is responsible for the research, classification and data entry of trading card consignments. Prior to joining REA full-time, Jessica served as an intern with the Company for nearly two years, where she was heavily involved in both the data entry, labelling and packaging of items. Before coming to REA, she spent four years in the music and entertainment industries, focusing on data entry and social media-related initiatives. She graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor of Music in Music and Entertainment Industries.

Brian joined REA in February 2022 after spending more than four years working with UPS. Brian plays an integral role in ensuring that all REA consignment orders and deliveries are processed efficiently. He is a Basking Ridge, New Jersey, native and a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, which can be attributed to his two favorite players growing up, Brian Dawkins and Brian Westbrook. In his spare time, he is an avid collector of football and basketball cards and memorabilia. Brian holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Montclair State University with a minor in Environmental Justice.

LT joined REA full-time in June 2024 and is responsible for both shipping and receiving of all items into and out of REA as well the organization and cataloging of all REA consignments. LT served as an intern with the Company for a year mainly involved in set verification before joining REA full-time as an Operations Specialist. LT is a graduate of Manville High School in New Jersey, where he was a varsity baseball player and active member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). A lifelong sports fan and supporter of the Mets, Giants, Knicks, and Devils, his passion for the game sparked a deep interest in sports cards and memorabilia, ultimately leading to extensive knowledge of ultra-modern sports cards.

Oliver is responsible for databasing incoming consignments, editing auction lots, and responding to customer inquiries, but he also serves as the company's trading card game (TCG) specialist. “Ollie” has been an avid video game enthusiast and Pokemon collector since he was a kid growing up in New Jersey. He's extremely well-versed in the intricacies of card games, such as Shadowverse and Hearthstone, and is a former top-50 NA player in both games. He is a passionate collector of Yu-Gi-Oh! and Weiss Schwartz cards, and his knowledge of Pokemon cards has been valuable in helping to grow that area of the REA business. Prior to joining REA in October 2022, he spent time as a data analyst and contract specialist for BNY Mellon and as a data consultant for Comodo Certification Authority. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from The College of New Jersey with a focus on data analysis and digital charting.

Tyler joined REA in August 2021 and is responsible for entering, handling and distributing REA's consignment inquiries. He works directly with REA's Consignment Coordinator to guide consignments from the initial inquiry through post auction tasks. Growing up in Southern California and now residing in Texas, he has been surrounded by sports and collecting his entire life. Tyler holds a B.S. in Marketing from Concordia University Irvine where he was a member of the track & field team, winning back-to-back team MVP awards during his freshman and sophomore years and qualifying for the NCAA Pac West regionals. He is a passionate fan of the Patriots, Celtics, Angels and the Stanley Cup champion Golden Knights.

Following a fifteen year career as a Senior Grader with Sportscard Guaranty (SGC), a leading third-party trading card authenticator, Bob has served as REA's head grader and vintage card specialist since 2016. Bob is tasked with reviewing all trading card consignments, evaluating candidates for professional grading, and preparing condition reports on all ungraded material. Bob has long been recognized as one of the leading graders within the industry and is noted for his wide range of card knowledge spanning the 1860s to modern day. His work ethic and attention to detail are praised by consignors, who have benefited from Bob's keen eye, and buyers, who appreciate his consistent and accurate approach to describing cards, alike.

A self-proclaimed sports history junkie, Joe is responsible for researching and developing copy detailing auction items. After spending several years as a buyer in REA's auctions, he turned passion into profession and joined the company in February 2021. His extensive knowledge of pre-war cards, especially the famed 1909-1911 T206 and the 1914 Cracker Jack sets, has been vital in crafting comprehensive descriptions of REA items. He also works closely with consignors to offer historic insight on cards and memorabilia and is a frequent presence at industry trade shows. He spent the first six years of his career within the software sector in his native Northern Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Government from St. Lawrence University.

P.J. oversees all communications initiatives at REA. He's a lifelong sports memorabilia and trading card collector and has been able to combine his vast knowledge of sports history with his 17+ years of experience in marketing and PR. Prior to joining REA in November 2022, P.J. spent the first 14 years of his career on the agency side of the industry, the last 11 of which focused on the fintech and capital markets sector where he worked with an array of companies ranging from startups to industry incumbents. He has extensive experience building communications and branding strategies, crafting social media campaigns, event planning, and product launches. He graduated from Seton Hall University cum laude in 2008 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a focus in Marketing and Sports Management. He lives in Middletown, New Jersey with his wife Danielle and his border collie mix Eddie.

Maureen Fiore has been the Accounting Manager at REA since October 2020. She has a wide range of experience and knowledge in the accounting field, and her greatest strengths are providing the best ways to help the company achieve its highest potential while keeping an eye on the bottom line. Maureen believes that strong leadership, honesty, and confidence are the assets that make her remarkably significant. Maureen started her career in 2005 when she earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Centenary. She then went on to earn her master's degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Centenary. Maureen enjoys spending time with her family on her days off from work.

Christine joined REA in 2019 and is responsible for processing all incoming payments and assisting with the company's accounting needs. She has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting field, including 10 years as a bookkeeper for a local construction company. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Centenary University. She lives in Hackettstown, New Jersey with her husband and two children.

Jesse is responsible for the photography and video production of all items consigned with REA, as well as the filming of all REA social media videos. He has more than 14 years of professional photography experience within the e-commerce and social media fields and owns and operates his own photography business, Jesse Murch Photography, which he launched in 2009. He has overseen the construction of multiple lighting studios and video stages and managed several social media campaigns that have successfully boosted customer engagement and sales. Prior to joining REA in 2018, he worked as a fashion photographer for The Hippie Shop in Randolph, NJ. Prior to that, he spent three years as the in-house photographer for Robert Ross & Co. He began his career as an event photographer for The New Jersey Herald. He holds a degree from Sussex County Community College.

Sam joined REA in 2021 and is responsible for the photo editing of all consignments. She also plays a key role in the development of REA's social media videos and set design. Sam has a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, making sure your items are best represented. She's had a camera attached to her hip for most of her life but started her own photography business in 2017 focusing on portraits and branding. Sam is also a licensed esthetician and has been a makeup artist for more than 12 years as well as a general creative with experience as a fashion designer and dancer. She was born and raised in Colorado, attended Colorado State University, and has been living in NJ for over 10 years.

Josh joined REA in June 2023 and is responsible for working with the company's consignors to help them meet their collecting goals through REA's Encore and Catalog Auctions. Prior to joining REA, he spent two years as part of the PWCC sales team. Born and raised in Bozeman, MT, where he still resides, Josh has been an avid card collector since his childhood, specializing in vintage football. In addition to collecting, Josh is also passionate about travel, having visited twelve countries so far. He holds a B.A. in Film Studies from Montana State University.

Tyler joined REA in March 2024 and works directly with consignors to ensure they meet their collecting and consignment goals. He grew up in Westhampton, NY, and now resides in New York City, where he started his career as a member of the sales team at a life insurance technology startup. Tyler is an avid collector of post-war Hall of Fame rookie cards, T201 Mecca Double Folders and 1933 Goudeys. As a sports enthusiast, he enjoys attending as many sports events as possible while rooting for his hometown Mets, Jets, Knicks and Rangers. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Communication and Leadership Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Kline joined REA in November 2024 and is responsible for the shipping and receiving all items coming into and leaving from REA. Prior to joining REA, Kline worked at a The UPS Store locally for nearly two years where he learned the ins and outs of shipping, ultimately working his way up to store manager. Outside of work, Kline is an avid musician and has been playing drums for more than 20 years. Growing up, he was involved with several music ensembles such as concert band, jazz band and marching band, as well as teaching high school drum line for three years. He is also a lifelong New York Mets fan. Kline holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania with a minor in history and a Master of Arts degree in history from University of Haifa in Israel.
