Graded EX 5 by SGC. Mid-grade example of Roberto Clemente's rookie card. One of card collecting's classics, Clemente's rookie card is the key to the 1955 Topps set and one of the most popular of all postwar baseball cards. The offered card has brilliant colors, a strong image, honest corner wear, and centering toward the bottom left. Boldly printed reverse. There is a surface scratch running through Clemente's neck noted for accuracy. This is a solid example of Clemente’s rookie card, one of the most important of all 1950s cards. Reserve $10.
