Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Very sharp looking example of Ty Cobb from the M116 Sporting Life set, one of the most popular of all 1910-era issues. M116s have always been highly appreciated by collectors for their distinctive style and rarity relative to the more commonly seen tobacco cards of the era. Ty Cobb, of course, is one of the key cards of the series. Bright and extremely clean both front and back. The corners display light wear at the tips, with centering toward the bottom and a crease across the upper left corner. The reverse is flawless, with the advertising for Sporting Life printed crisply and boldly in blue. This is a very attractive mid-grade example of one of Ty Cobb's most classic cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000+.
