Collection of three different four-card advertising panels from the 1954 Bowman series: 1) Panel 1: #39, 40, 47, and 48. 2) Panel 2: #55, 56, 63, and 64 Mathews (HOF). 3) Panel 3: #67, 68, 75, and 76. Two of the panels still have the original small diamond-shaped sticker affixed on the reverse and one panel is missing the sticker. Bowman distributed these rare four-card panels only to grocery and candy-store owners for the purpose of announcing and providing samples of the new cards being offered. Because of their method of issue and purpose, advertising panels are quite rare. Each panel has light corner wear, otherwise overall Excellent condition. Dimensions: 5 x 7.5 inches each.
