Snapshot photo of Roger Maris as a member of the New York Yankees, signed "Best of Luck/Roger Maris" in the upper left corner. Both the inscription and signature have been scripted in blue ink and grade "8." Maris is captured posing on the field prior to a game, which appears to be a spring-training contest given the outfield background (trees and houses are pictured directly behind the fence). The photo (3.5 x 3.5 inches) remains in Near Mint condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA.  Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
