This impressive 16 x 20-inch black-and-white photo captures Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle posing together on the steps of the dugout in 1951. Each player has flawlessly signed the photo in blue Sharpie (grading "10") across his respective image. 1951 was the only season in which DiMaggio and Mantle played together, thereby limiting the number of opportunities for photos such as this. Although the offered photographic print does not date from 1951, it is obvious, from its exceptional quality, that it was produced (at no small cost, we might add) directly from the original negative. Photos of this size signed by both DiMaggio and Mantle are quite scarce and highly prized by collectors today. This is a classic photo of the two legendary Yankee outfielders and one that would be perfect for display in either home or office. The signed large-format photograph is in apparent Mint condition and has been beautifully matted and framed to total dimensions of 21.5 x 25.5 inches. LOA from James Spence/JSA.   Reserve $300.
