Graded EX 5 by PSA. Only four examples are graded higher by PSA! Goudey premium dating from 1936, DiMaggio's first full season with the Yankees. This is an extremely significant card as it is, with good reason, universally recognized to be one of Joe DiMaggio's true rookie cards. This is also the key card from the R314 Goudey "Wide Pen" series. The card is bright and crisp with outstanding picture quality, very light corner wear, and near-perfect centering. Both the front and back are bright and clean. PSA is very hard on these premiums. While accurately graded at Excellent, it certainly has a better appearance. This is an extremely historic and overlooked card, one of Joe DiMaggio's true rookie cards, and one that would be a worthy addition to and an extremely significant highlight in even the most advanced card or Hall of Fame collection.  Reserve $300.
