Hogwarts school cloak and wizardry coins used in both the 2001 Warner Bros. release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and the 2002 release of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.. The black school cloak was worn by a member of Gryffindor (one of the Weasley twins), which was the house that Harry Potter belonged to, and features a patch on the left breast featuring the Gryffindor coat of arms. Two small flag tags are affixed to the interior, on labeled "M" (denoting the size: medium) and the other bearing the handwritten initials "CF" (meaning unknown). The three wizardry coins, consisting of a Galleon, Sickle, and Knut, were used during the Gringots Bank scenes in the movies. All of these items were obtained by our consignor directly from Stuart Myers, who worked as an actor on the first four Harry Potter movies, and the collection is accompanied by a one-page letter of provenance from Myers attesting to their actual use in the first two films. Also included is a four-page call sheet ("Call Sheet: 65") from the the first film, dated January 11, 2001, which includes the stage location and the actors and production employees needed for the scenes being shot that day. Interestingly, the film's title, as noted at the top of the sheet, was Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone, which was the title of the first book when originally published in England. The title was changed to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when it was later published in the United States and that title was the one Warner Bros. eventually chose to use for the film as well. The cloak and coins are in Near Mint condition, while the call sheet displays a number of moderate creases and a few light stains.   Reserve $500. Estimate (open).
