Circa 1920s "dog-ear" leather football helmet manufactured by Goldsmith. The black-leather helmet features a wool lining and retains a portion of its original chin strap. This is both a scarce and highly desirable style helmet and the first example we have handled. In Excellent condition overall, displaying wear commensurate with its age and former use.   Reserve $200. Estimate $500+.
