Trifecta of 1915 Cracker Jack Staples Lead Several Record-Setting Results in REA’s June Auction

Chester, NJ - June 22, 2026 - REA’s June Auction closed Sunday night led by three of the flagship cards in the iconic 1915 E145 Cracker Jack series. A Ty Cobb SGC VG 3 sold for $41,820, the highest public sale of the card in this SGC grade in nearly four years. A Walter Johnson SGC VG/EX 4 and Honus Wagner SGC VG 3 both set new records for the cards in their respective grades, each finishing at $30,750.

Rounding out the top five results was a stunning 1948-1949 Leaf #32 Warren Spahn Rookie PSA NM-MT 8 (MBA Gold Diamond) that sold for $28,290, a record for the card in this grade, and a 1984-1985 Star Company Basketball #237 Hakeem Olajuwon PSA NM-MT 8 that sold for $19,680, a new all-time record for the card.

Additionally, a 1962 Topps #10 Roberto Clemente PSA NM-MT+ 8.5 also set a new mark for the card in this grade, selling for $14,145.

  • Rare 1929 R316 Kashin Publication Premium 5 x 7 Photo Babe Ruth PSA VG-EX 4 - $8,918
