Graded VG-EX+ 4.5 by PSA. This is the only example graded at this level by PSA, with none graded higher. Extremely attractive example of Babe Ruth from the 1926-1929 Exhibit-Style set. Ruth is depicted in a batting follow-through pose. This classic Exhibit-style card was actually issued by a small competitor of the Exhibit Supply Company. The cards were issued two ways: with or without a normal postcard indicia on the reverse. The offered example is the "Blank Back" variety. The card is bright and crisp front and back with no major creases, light wear on the corners, and a flawless image. This a superb example offering an outstanding value compared to many other cards from Ruth's playing days. Reserve $1,000.
