Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Stellar pack-fresh example of this classic rookie card of Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente. Every short list of the most popular and classic of all 1950s baseball cards includes the Clemente rookie. This is a stunning example! The card exhibits vibrant colors, four sharp corners displaying only tiny hints of wear under close inspection at the extreme tips, perfect registration, and no print lines whatsoever. Outstanding centering, just a hint to the right. That is particularly noteworthy for this card, which is so often subject to extremely serious centering problems. Perfectly crisp and clean, both front and back, and with perfect gloss. This is a tremendous high-grade example of Roberto Clemente’s rookie card, one of the most important of all classic 1950s cards. Reserve $10,000. Estimate $20,000+.
