Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Incredibly stunning ultra high-grade example of Mickey Mantle's second Topps card. One of card collecting's greatest classics, Mantle's second Topps card is the key to the 1953 Topps set, and one of the most popular of all postwar baseball cards. Bright and clean, both front and back, with light touches of wear on the corners under magnification, vibrant colors, and centering toward the top left. Only fifteen examples of this card have ever graded higher out of 4,094 graded by PSA to date. This is a tremendous high-grade example of one of collecting's most famous cards, and would be a significant highlight in any 1953 Topps set, any high-grade 1950s Mantle card collection, or any world-class collection of vintage classic baseball cards. Reserve $10,000. Estimate (open).
