Graded NM-MT 8 (OC) by PSA. Beautiful mid-grade example of Mickey Mantle's true rookie card. This is a stunning card! One of card collecting's greatest classics, Mantle's Bowman rookie card is the key to the 1951 set and one of the most popular and significant of all postwar baseball cards. This striking example displays strong corners, a crisp image, and beautiful colors. The back is boldly printed, displaying just a few small spots of staining and surface wear. Centering toward the top right explains the qualifier. This is a magnificent example of one of collecting's most famous cards, which would be a worthy cornerstone to any high-end 1950s Mantle card collection or any world-class collection of classic baseball cards. Reserve $5,000.
