On October 1, 1977, Pele took part in a special exhibition game organized in honor of his legendary career. The game, played at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, matched Santos (the Brazilian club where Pele rose to fame) against the New York Cosmos (the club through which he helped elevate the profile of professional soccer in the United States). In what marked the final game of his career, he played the first half for Santos, scoring the last of his 1,281 career goals, before switching sides to represent the Cosmos in the second half of a 2-1 New York victory. Offered is a full ticket (3 x 7 inches) to this game, signed by Pele in black marker on the front. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the ticket, grading the signature GEM MINT 10 and the ticket NM 7.
