Graded VG 3 by SGC. Very attractive mid-grade example of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle's true rookie card. One of card collecting's great classics, Mantle's Bowman rookie card is the key to the 1951 set and is one of the most popular and significant of all postwar baseball cards. This example has vibrant colors, a crisp image, even corner wear, and a few small wrinkles along the front. Extremely clean, with no distracting print lines that are commonly found with this card. Boldly printed reverse displaying a strip of light staining along the bottom. A strong mid-grade example of this legendary card.
