Graded VG/EX 4 by SGC. Exceptional E121 American Caramel (series of 120) of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb (batting), one of the key cards from one of the classic caramel sets of the early 1920s. Cobb is ideally depicted in uniform holding the bat that made him so famous. The offered card exhibits superb image clarity and contrast, excellent centering, and strong corners with light touches of wear. Clean reverse with bold black text. This is a superb mid-grade example of Ty Cobb, produced by American Caramel during an era in which very few card sets were issued. Awarded an MBA Silver Diamond by Mike Baker Authenticated for high-end eye appeal. A corresponding MBA sticker is affixed to the front of the holder.
