Modestly graded example of the rare T206 Ray Demmitt card, St. Louis Browns variation. Polar Bear was the only company to issue this T206 variation, no doubt contributing to its rarity. T206 cards issued with Polar Bear tobacco were not well protected from the accompanying product, so most Demmitts have significant condition problems including at least some tobacco staining. The offered card displays beautiful colors and a crisp image. Graded POOR 1 by SGC due to light creasing and a spot of paper loss above Demmitt's name. A presentable low-grade example of one of the rarest and most condition-sensitive cards in the classic T206 White Border set.
