Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA (submitted by REA). This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! Exceedingly rare example of Hall of Famer Red Grange (Card #9B) from the 1926 Shotwell football set. Grange was issued with two different poses in this set: facing forward or with #77 showing on his uniform. The offered example is the much rarer "#77 showing" variety, one of only four examples known to exist from this series. This example is bright and crisp, with a bold image, minor wear to the corners, and light toning front and back. The reverse is boldly printed. This is a desirable example of the legendary Red Grange from this popular 1920s football-card issue.
