Graded NM-MT+ 8.5 by PSA. Exceptional high-grade example of this classic card featuring New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle. Bowman's third Mantle card is regarded by many as its best effort. The card features a magnificent photo of Mantle in his follow-through swing. Mantle looks like a youngster in his Yankee pinstripes (he was 21 years old in this photo), and the blue sky provides a perfect backdrop. This example features brilliant colors, superb image quality, strong corners, and excellent centering. The reverse is clean with bold printing. This is a superb example of one of Mantle's earliest and most prized cards, which would be a significant highlight in any 1953 Bowman Color set or any world-class 1950s Mantle card collection.
