Outstanding example of Hall of Famer Joe Tinker (Chicago Cubs) from the T204 Ramly series, one of the premier tobacco-card issues of the era. The Ramly series is one of the most desirable of all the tobacco-card issues, appreciated by collectors both for its rarity and distinctive style. Tinker is one of only 15 Hall of Famers in the Ramly Tobacco set. The offered example has a striking portrait image, virtually no chipping to the gold borders, strong corners (touch weaker top right), and impressive centering. The back is clean with bold print. This is a fantastic high-grade example of this popular Hall of Famer from this beautiful and extremely condition-sensitive set.
