Graded NM 7 by PSA. Popular #1 Lefty Grove from the classic R327 Diamond Stars set featuring the Hall of Fame pitcher in a Boston Red Sox uniform. The 1934-1936 Diamond Stars bubble-gum card of Grove is a key Hall of Famer in the set and one of the most popular of all Lefty Grove cards. This is a very sharp, crisp, extremely highly graded example. Entirely clean both front and back, with brilliant colors, flawless registration, four strong corners, and bold green text (1935 variety) on the reverse. In addition to being a Hall of Famer, Grove is the #1 card in the R327 Diamond Stars set, and is therefore also a natural condition rarity. This classic 1930s card has always been a favorite with collectors.
