Presented is a near-complete set of R327 Diamond Stars consisting of ninety-two different of the 108 cards in the set. Included are twelve variations (#2 Simmons, two 5, two 8, 12, 19, 73, 76, two 80, and 84) and nine duplicates (#4, 23, 37, 38, 46, 56, 68, 71, and 89). This impressive collection of this classic 1930s gum-card issue is highlighted by twenty-three Hall of Famers, including Jimmie Foxx, Lefty Grove, and Hank Greenberg. Missing the following sixteen cards for completion: #3 Maranville, 18 Hafey, 39 Hubbell, 44 Hornsby, 50 Ott, 74 Lazzeri, 83 Waner, 92, 99 Traynor, 100 Averill, 101, 102, 104 Rolfe, 106, 107, and 108 Berger. Condition is 19% Vg-Ex to Ex (mostly Vg-Ex), 54% Gd to Vg, and 35% Pr to Fr (including a few that measure small and one with a slight trim). We have selected six cards to be professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC.
