New York Yankees team-composite postcard dating from the club's 1932 World Championship Season. This is a photograph of a photograph. The postcard features portrait images of 26 team members against a backdrop of a game-in-progress photograph. Each player is identified in print below his respective image, including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, manager Joe McCarthy, Red Ruffing, Lefty Gomez, Tony Lazzeri, Joe Sewell, Herb Pennock, Bill Dickey, and Earle Combs. The text in the center reads "1932 New York Yankees American League Champions." 1932 marked Babe Ruth's final World Championship season with the "Bronx Bombers," making this a desirable souvenir from that historic season. The postcard (5-3/8 x 3-1/2 inches), which is not addressed or mailed, has an irregular hand cut on multiple edges. Encapsulated as "Authentic" by SGC.
