Graded GOOD 2 by SGC (submitted by REA). Presented is a very attractive Exhibits card dating from Gehrig's first full season with the Yankees, in 1925. This is an extremely significant card as it is recognized as Lou Gehrig's true rookie card. This is also one of the key rarities and perhaps the most noteworthy of all Exhibits cards. The card is bright and crisp with outstanding picture quality but has light corner wear and a light, diagonal crease on the upper-right quadrant. There appears to be erased writing on the lightly toned reverse. Though accurately graded at Good, it certainly has a far better appearance. This is an extremely historic card, Lou Gehrig's true rookie card, and one that would be a highlight in even the most advanced card or Hall of Fame collection.
