Collection of forty-three 1910 T210 Old Mill cards, all rare "Series 8" cards. The T210 set is composed of eight different series, each representing a different minor league. The eighth series features players from the Southern Association. The 114 cards of the eighth series are the rarest cards of the T210 Old Mill set. In fact, it is precisely because Joe Jackson appears in the eighth series that he is so rare in the Old Mill set. Twenty-five cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC (24) and PSA (1). SGC Grading Composite: VG+ 3.5 (1 card): Vinson. VG 3 (6 cards): Cohen, Fisher (VG 40), Kane (VG 40), Keupper (VG 40), Rogers (VG 40), and S. Smith (VG 40). GOOD+ 2.5 (2 cards): Sweeney (GOOD+ 35) and Wagner/Birmingham. GOOD 2 (5 cards): Gribbin, Hanks (GOOD 30), Hess, Nolley (GOOD 30), and Thomas. FAIR 1.5 (5 cards): Bayless, DeMontreville (FAIR 20), Pepe (FAIR 20), Robertson (PSA), and Smith. POOR 1 (6 cards): Babb, Chappelle (POOR 10), E. DeMontreville (POOR 10), Foster (POOR 10), Schopp, and Siegle. Also includes the following eighteen unencapsulated cards: Anderson, Bartley, Breitenstein, Case, Emery, Fritz, Greminger, Gygli, Hickman, Kelly, Lindsay, Manush, Moran, Newton, Pratt, Seitz, Swacina, and Welf. The condition of the unencapsulated cards is one Vg, four Gd, and thirteen Pr to Fr (including one with a slight trim to the bottom edge, otherwise Vg+). This is a sizable group of these extreme tobacco-card rarities from the T210 Old Mill set. Total: 43 cards. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
