Outstanding rarely seen 1977-1979 Sportscaster Italy Hockey #77-10 Wayne Gretzky rookie card, signed by Gretzky in blue marker on the front. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card, certifying both the signature and card as "Authentic." This is the first signed example of this particular card we have ever offered, making it an exceedingly rare autographed piece featuring “The Great One.” While everyone knows Gretzky's O-Pee-Chee and Topps rookie cards, few are familiar with his 1977-1979 Sportscaster card, which was printed in Italy. In fact, PSA has assessed only nine signed examples to date. The card (4.75 x 6.25 inches) remains in Excellent to Mint condition. This card would make a fantastic addition to any Wayne Gretzky or world-class hockey collection. A "WG Authentic" hologram sticker is affixed on the front.
