Complete 66-card set of 1958-1959 Topps hockey highlighted by the rookie cards of Bobby Hull, arguably the greatest hockey player ever, and Eddie Shack. The 1958-1959 Topps hockey issue in general is very condition-sensitive, but the Hull rookie card is especially difficult to find in high grade as it was assigned the final card number (#66) of the set. Condition is 18% Ex or slightly better and 82% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple lesser). We have selected four cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC. Keys: #2 Sawchuk (EX 5), 8 Howe (VG/EX 4), 13 Hall (VG/EX+ 4.5), 30 Shack RC (slight trim and erasure mark on left border, otherwise Vg-Ex), 36 Pilote (Ex), 39 Worsley (Vg-Ex), 40 Bucyk (Ex), 65 Ullman (Vg-Ex+), and 66 Hull RC (SGC Authentic, evidence of trimming). This is a very attractive and consistent mid-grade complete set of 1958-1959 Topps hockey highlighted by key card #66 Hull.
