Presented is a complete set of 1959-1960 Kahn's Wieners Basketball consisting of ten different cards. All ten cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA as this set ranks #1 on their set registry! An ungraded example of Phil Jordan (trimmed, otherwise Vg-Ex) accompanies the ten graded cards. While PSA considers the set complete at ten (all of which are graded in this lot) and does not officially recognize the Jordan card due to insufficient checklisting and information, we have received information supporting its inclusion. This is just the second complete set we have offered in the past twenty years! PSA Grading Composite: EX-MT 6 (1 card): Wilfong. EX 5 (2 cards): Embry and Park. VG-EX+ 4.5 (1 card): Staverman. VG-EX 4 (2 cards): Piontek and Reed. VG 3 (1 card): Bockhorn. GOOD 2 (1 card): Marshall (MK). FAIR 1.5 (1 card): Rollins. POOR 1 (1 card): Twyman. One card was issued with each package of Kahn's meats. Because of the product with which they were packaged, heavy grease stains and creases are common with this issue, making it all the more difficult to assemble a high-grade set. This is a very attractive mid-grade complete set of this popular and attractive issue. Kahn's Wieners cards are far rarer than most 1950s basketball cards and are one of the few food issues of the era. Total: 11 cards.
