Graded VG 3 by PSA. Rare full ticket issued for the 1948 NFL Championship game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Cardinals held at Shibe Park in Philadelphia on December 19th. This is one of only five full tickets to the 1948 NFL Championship game that have been evaluated by PSA. The first NFL championship game ever to be televised, under blizzard-like condition nonetheless, the Eagles defeated the Cardinals 7-0. Philadelphia's Hall of Fame halfback Steve Van Buran scored the game's lone touchdown early in the 4th quarter. To this day, the contest remains the second lowest-scoring postseason game in NFL history. The ticket (5-1/4 x 2 inches) displays light creasing.
