Extremely desirable full ticket issued for the first New York Mets game ever played at Shea Stadium on April 17, 1964. Graded VG 3 by PSA. Unfortunately, for the Mets and their fans, the Pittsburgh Pirates put a damper on the day's festivities by defeating the Mets 4-3 in the club's home opener. This is one of only seven examples certified by PSA. The ticket (1.5 x 6.25 inches) has light creasing and even corner wear.
