Official Major League baseball inscribed "Best Wishes Mickey Mantle" in blue ink on the sweet spot. Although Mantle signed thousands of baseballs during his years of retirement, those bearing additional notations are the exception rather than the rule. As such, they have always been held in higher regard by most collectors. The ball displays light-moderate toning throughout but is otherwise in Excellent condition overall. A James Spence/JSA certification sticker is affixed to the ball.
