Personal check dated December 23, 1960, and signed by Jackie Robinson, accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from Rachel Robinson (Jackie Robinson's wife). PSA/DNA has encapsulated the check and graded the signature NM-MT 8. The check, drawn on The First National City Bank of New York, is made out to the "Bill David" in the amount of $21.00. Signed "Jack Robinson" in blue ink along the base. There is an endorsement stamped on the reverse. The check (6 x 2.75 inches), which has normal bank cancellation stamps, is in Very Good to Excellent condition overall. A one-page signed letter of provenance from Rachel Robinson accompanies the check (this is one of a number of checks that was released into the hobby by the Robinson family in the early 1990s).
