Presented is a complete 63-card set of the 1971 Topps Super series, highlighted by many Hall of Famers and stars including Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Roberto Clemente. Condition is 82% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including a few bordering on Mint), 8% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 10% Vg to Vg-Ex (including one lesser). We have selected three cards for grading and encapsulation by PSA. Keys: #20 Rose (VG 3), 32 Bench (Nr/Mt), 37 Clemente (Ex-Mt), 38 Jackson (NM-MT 8), 44 Aaron (MINT 9), and 56 Mays (Ex due solely to gum stain on reverse). Because of their high-quality production values and scarcity relative to other Topps sets of the era, it is a little surprising that this issue has not received more attention from collectors, but this is primarily because for many years grading companies did not have holders for this large-format issue. This is no longer the case, and collectors can now build sets of these cards in graded form just like they've done for many years with standard-sized cards. A very attractive high-grade complete set with several notable highlights. Total: 63 cards.
