Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Exceptional high-grade example of 1957 Topps #407 “Yankees’ Power Hitters” featuring Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra. Being the last card in the set, it is a condition rarity. Just as card #1 Williams was naturally subject to wear due to gravitating to the top of the pile as kids organized their cards by number in 1957, #407 Mantle/Berra was also subject to excessive wear at the bottom of the pile. This card has always been a very difficult card to find in anything even resembling high grade. Bright and crisp with strong corners and a clean reverse. An outstanding example of one of the signature cards from the 1957 Topps set.
