Graded NM/MT+ 8.5 by SGC. Magnificent high-grade example of the gray-back variety of this classic Mickey Mantle card. The 1956 Topps Mantle card is highly regarded by collectors on many counts. In addition to being a striking card with an exceptional design, this card dates from Mantle's Triple Crown season. Crisp and clean with bold colors, strong corners, and impressive centering. Clean reverse. There is a tiny spot of chipping along the bottom edge noted for accuracy.
