Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Only five examples grade higher out of 1,602 evaluated by PSA to date. Tremendous high-grade example of this Babe Ruth classic. The 1948-1949 Leaf Bubble Gum card of Ruth is one of the most popular and striking of all his cards. It is on virtually every short list of the most classic and recognizable of all postwar baseball cards. The offered card has vibrant colors, flawless registration, strong corners, and centering slightly toward the left. The reverse is clean and free of staining and excess print. This is a fantastic example of one of the icons of postwar-card collecting.
