Washington Senators program issued for the 1925 World Series against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The program, produced by National Photo Company of Washington, D.C., was a particularly ambitious effort and is comprised of 64 sepia-toned pages packed with literally hundreds of photos. Large portrait images of managers Bucky Harris and Bill McKechnie are featured on the cover. The program is neatly scored in black ink to record a 4-0 Senators victory in Game 4. Please note the scorer incorrectly labeled the scorecard for being for Game 5. 1925 Washington Senators World Series programs are one of the most condition-sensitive of all early World Series programs. Unfortunately, they are rarely found in high-grade due to the very thin, easily damaged quality of their interior pages. The offered program (8 x 10-1/2 inches) displays light handling wear and a small tear along the bottom edge of the front cover. The interior scorecard section is detached from the spine. Good condition overall.
