Graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC (submitted by REA). This is the ONLY example that has ever been graded by SGC! Presented is an outstanding card from the 1910 H. C. Hubel Postcard series featuring Detroit Tigers pitcher Ed Willett. Willett is pictured in uniform superimposed in front of a building in downtown Michigan. This is the first example of this postcard we have ever handled and we cannot recall having seen another at auction. The postcard (3-3/8 x 5-3/8 inches) has been addressed and mailed, with the postmark dated "Jul 7 1910." In Vg-Ex condition overall, with light corner wear. This is a very attractive card from this rare issue that would be a worthy addition to any advanced postcard or type-card collection. Opening Bid $200.
