Graded VG 3 by PSA. Very attractive example of the T206 Magie error card. Magie is one of the rarest cards in the T206 set, and along with Plank, Wagner, and of course the rare Doyle, is usually one of the last cards required by collectors to complete the T206 set. The Magie error card has been recognized as one of card collecting's great rarities since the days of Jefferson Burdick. (In fact, Burdick singled out the Magie as one of the significant T206 rarities in the original American Card Catalog.) This well-centered example exhibits vibrant colors, outstanding registration, and light corner wear (weaker top left and bottom right). Boldly printed Piedmont 150 advertising reverse. Downgraded slightly due to very light surface wrinkling on the front, which does little to detract from the card's visual appeal. This is a strong mid-grade example of one of card collecting's famous error cards and one of the hobby's legendary rarities. Opening Bid $10,000.
