Attractive and mostly mid-grade complete set of this American classic. The 1962 Topps "Mars Attacks" set is unparalleled in the presentation of its colorful, detailed artwork and gruesome graphics. Parents were up in arms upon viewing the gore and mayhem depicted by this scary science fiction set, which tells the story of Martians attacking Earth, but kids couldn't get enough of them. Condition is 89% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple better) and 11% lesser. Keys: #1 The Invasion Begins (Pr) and 55 Checklist (completely marked in pencil, otherwise Vg).
