Stunning high-grade rookie card of Boston Bruins Hall of Famer Bobby Orr from the classic 1966-1967 Topps Hockey set. From the first time that Bobby Orr played professional hockey it was quite obvious that his influence would change the game forever. One of the all-time great defensemen, Orr showed that players at his position could become an offensive force as well. He played just nine full seasons but his legend was so great that he was elected into Hockey's Hall of Fame in the same year he retired, 1979. This card is especially difficult to find in high grade because of the brown flush-to-the-border design of the 1966-1967 Topps Hockey set. This is simply an incredible card and is without question one of the finest examples we have ever seen or offered at auction. The offered example boasts vibrant colors, exceptional print quality, strong corners, and virtually no wear to the condition-sensitive brown borders. The reverse is perfectly clean.
