Presented is a stunning limited-edition mixed-medium Upper Deck art print, titled Icons of Sport, signed by the three athletes who are universally regarded as the greatest in their respective fields: Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods. The print has been flawlessly signed by each athlete in black marker along the bottom white border, directly below his respective image. This print was limited in its distribution to just 100, and is specially hand-numbered in the lower right corner ("4/100"). Upper Deck has orchestrated many celebrated signings during its history, but the Icons of Sport print is universally recognized as one of its crowning achievements. Never before, or since, have Gretzky, Jordan, and Woods been brought together for a private-signing project, and both the scope and artistry of this piece reflect the magnitude of the occasion. The mixed-medium art print, which has been produced on archival paper with hand-torn deckled edges, measures an enormous 48 x 24 inches, and is housed in its original museum-quality custom frame (with UV-resistant Plexiglas) as issued (frame measures 58 x 34 inches). One of the most noteworthy features of this print is that its grand design has resulted in each athlete's signature matching the scale of the piece, with the Gretzky signature in particular (eight inches in length) representing one of the largest examples we have ever encountered. This is undoubtedly one of the most significant limited-edition signed sports prints ever issued by Upper Deck and one that is a true modern classic. The retail selling price of the Icons of Sport art print on the Upper Deck website, according to our research, appears to be $39,999.
