The black-marker signatures on the ball include: Michael Jordan, Pat Riley (coach), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (signed "Kareem"), Maurice Cheeks, Robert Parish, Rolando Blackman, James Worthy, Tom Chambers, K. C. Jones (coach), Alex English, Hakeem Olajuwon (signed "Akeem"), Walter Davis, Mark Aguirre, Kevin McHale, Moses Malone, and four unidentified (possibly Bird, Wilkins, Laimbeer, and Carroll).
