Rare and historically significant Brooklyn Dodgers ticket stub from Jackie Robinson’s final regular-season MLB game, on September 30, 1956, at Ebbets Field. Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA (submitted by REA). Robinson went 1-for-4 with a home run in the Dodgers' 8-6 victory over the Pirates in Brooklyn's final game of the season. The home run marked his 10th of the season and the 137th of his career (last regular-season homer). It should be noted that Robinson did not announce his retirement until well after the season ended (he was actually traded to the Giants but chose to retire instead), so no one in attendance that day had any reason to believe the ticket would be of any significance. As a result, few examples have surfaced. This is just the fifth example we have offered in the past 20 years. The ticket (1-3/8 x 2-5/8 inches) has moderate creasing and paper loss on the reverse.
