Brooklyn Dodgers regular-season ticket stub (1.25 x 3 inches) issued for a doubleheader against the St. Louis Cardinals on August 18, 1947, in which Jackie Robinson hit his ninth career home run. Graded EX 5 by PSA. This is the only example graded at this level (out of twelve) with NONE graded higher. Robinson's home run, a solo shot off of Howie Pollet, occurred in the bottom of the first inning of the first game. The Dodgers defeated the Cardinals 7-6. Robinson went 1-for-3 in the game, and 1-for-2 in the second game, which was won by Brooklyn 12-3. Robinson was in his rookie season with the Dodgers in 1947 so any Dodgers ticket stubs from that historic year, especially those from home-run games, have always been highly prized by collectors. This is an outstanding high-grade example and one that would be a welcome addition to any Brooklyn Dodgers or Jackie Robinson collection. Opening Bid $200.
