Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Highest-graded example! Exceptional ultra-high-grade card of New York Yankees infielder Billy Martin from the 1953 Topps set. The offered example boasts bold colors, outstanding registration, strong corners, and bright white borders. Clean reverse. A quick look at the PSA population report shows that 1,378 examples of this card have been graded to date. Of these, however, only eight have graded PSA MINT 9, with no PSA 10 examples ever graded. 1953 Topps cards typically suffer from a variety of condition problems, including print defects and a tendency to have soft corners, which make Mint examples particularly difficult to find.
