Modestly example of Paul Waner’s 1923 Zeenut rookie card as a member of the San Francisco Seals Pacific Coast League team before his days as a future Hall of Famer for the Pittsburgh Pirates. This is one of only three cards of “Big Poison” issued during his playing days in the PCL (the others are the 1924 and 1925 Zeenuts). The offered card has outstanding image clarity and "RF" scripted in black ink along the upper left. Encapsulated as Authentic by SGC due to clipped corners. As is usually the case with Zeenuts, the coupon at the bottom of the card has been clipped away, as intended, to be redeemed for valuable prizes. Ths is a presentable example of Paul Waner's rookie card, the key card to the 1923 Zeenut set and a prize addition to any rookie card or Pacific Coast League collection. Opening Bid $200.
