On June 11, 2003, six Houston Astros pitchers made history by together combining to pitch a no-hitter against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. Offered here is game-used ball from that historic contest, signed by each of the six Astros pitchers involved: Roy Oswalt (starter), Peter Munro, Kirk Saarloos, Brad Lidge, Octavio Dotel, and Billy Wagner. Each player has signed the ball in blue ink, respectively, on a separate side panel (except Oswalt and Wagner share the sweet spot). In addition to signing the ball, each player has added their respective number of strikeouts and the number of innings pitched. The Rawlings official American League baseball displays soiling and moderate wear consistent with its game use. Although there is always a leap-of-faith involved with game-used baseballs, this example has an MLB hologram label (MR275404) affixed to a side panel attesting to its authenticity.
